Best Locations For Brand Photoshoots in Sioux Falls

One of the most important questions when it comes to planning your brand session is… where are we going to take the photos at? Pinning down the location of a brand session really comes down to each individual client and what they are wanting to portray and showcase in their images. Luckily, in a town like Sioux Falls, there are a TON of amazing options as far as locations go. There are rental studios, beautiful coffee shops, outdoor urban spaces, event spaces, houses and so much more! Here are some of the best places (and my favorites)  for brand sessions in Sioux Falls. 

A Studio Space

A studio space is usually an ideal location for brand photoshoots. Natural light along with bright, white walls helps create photos that are clean and perfect for graphics, social media, and your website! My favorite studio in Sioux Falls is White Space Studio which is currently located on the West side of town. The furniture and props in the space are great for brand shoots and there are numerous ways to arrange the studio to create a unique set up for each session. I’m always able to create something unique!

Local Coffee Shops

I absolutely love using local coffee shops as locations for brand shoots! Many of my clients are entrepreneurs who work remotely and a lot of the time, it just makes sense to photograph working shots in a beautiful coffee shop space! Thankfully, Sioux Falls has so many super cute and aesthetic coffee shops in town. A few of my favorites include The Source, Coffea on Louise & Downtown, Queen City Bakery and CH Patisserie! Each offers a unique setting and vibe.

Downtown Sioux Falls

I am very much a natural light photographer which means I am a big fan of using outdoor locations for brand shoots. Downtown Sioux Falls offers an amazing variety of outdoor community spaces that are perfect for gorgeous brand photos. I especially love the area outside of Fernson in the summer, Phillips Avenue, and anywhere where there is a mix of urban and greenery. Chef’s kiss. 

Jones 421 Building Outdoor Space

I said earlier that I love using outdoor spaces for brand shoots (especially downtown) and the Jones 421 building is no exception. It is a fabulous space for brand shoots as there are tables, trees, a beautiful exterior brick and some pretty magical sunlight in the morning hours. This is a great space to showcase you working, meeting with a client, and just enjoying the space.  

Your Own Space

While all of these locations work so well, I’m always open to using your own space for a brand shoot! Whether it’s your home, a brick and mortar shop, your corporate office, a clinic, or anything in between, we can absolutely use it! It is just important to make sure the space is nicely designed, free of clutter, and has natural light. It is so fun to show off where you work!
