Autumn Elopement Wedding at Terry Peak, South Dakota

Maggie & Jeff | Elopement Wedding | Terry Peak | Lead-Deadwood, South Dakota | October 3, 2020

Maggie and Jeff reached out to me just a few months prior to their wedding day in October. Because of Covid, they made the decision to have an intimate elopement style wedding. It was the perfect little Black Hills getaway and I couldn’t be more honored to have witnessed this sweet couple get married on the balcony of a cabin at Terry Peak. When I arrived, I began shooting the details, from Maggie’s flower crown, to her adorable dress, and their beautiful cake. Their details were perfect. Shortly after, the officiant arrived and he conducted the ceremony. These two have an incredibly story and I was so moved by their ceremony and the emotion they showed. It was so clear how much they loved each other. After that, these two quick Facetimed their family, popped a bottle of champagne, and danced around the kitchen before we went to take some portraits. Although I only spent a couple of hours with Maggie and Jeff, I was so thankful to help them celebrate their wedding day and to create memories for them to share with their family who couldn’t be there. What a dream!
