Sunny Spring Engagement Session in Alexandria, South Dakota

Macy & Alex’s engagement session in May was such a joy to photograph! I met up with them them in Alexandria and then they drove me out to Alex’s land for the first part of our session. Although it was super bright and sunny, we were able to find a few perfect spots for their photos! Big shout out to Alex for driving us around in his side by side! We then finished their session in town with the most perfect glittery, golden light shining through the trees and it was the perfect cap to a super fun evening. I absolutely loved getting to meet these two and to see them together.

Macy and I actually met in high school when we attended the same basketball camp together in Mitchell. Since then, our paths have crossed a lot because of basketball - even playing against eachother in a few college games! I was so thrilled when she reached out to me to take her wedding photos. Their wedding coming up in September is going to be so much fun!
