Editorial Brand Photoshoot in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

For Rachel’s brand photoshoot, a few words we focused on were credibility, visionary, and dreamer. I met Rachel in our amazing Co.Starters cohort at Startup Sioux Falls last fall and I was absolutely thrilled when she approached me about a brand session. Her business, Flyover Podcasts, is focused on helping podcasters create an effective content strategy and she needed photos to use for her own social media pages and website content.

We approached this shoot knowing that we wanted it to feel minimal and editorial, while also letting Rachel’s personality shine. Rachel is such a lovely human being and truly a content marketing genius. Getting to see up close how her marketing brain works was amazing and I learned so much from her in our cohort together!

The first part of this shoot was spent in a studio focusing on editorial style headshots and brand photos, and then we ended the shoot at one of my Sioux Falls favorites, CH Patisserie. Using a coffee shop or cafe space is so fun to be able to create more lifestyle, ever day type images. And for Rachel, it just made sense. She’s a downtown Sioux Falls girly and is totally in her element in downtown spaces.
